Ken has been a top performing CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) professional with IG Private Wealth Management for the last 32 years. With a passion for knowledge and people, Ken has been able to help clients achieve their financial goals.  Building a personalized financial plan for client’s that adapts with them when they need it while always planning for their future goals.


Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ken started his career in 1988 with IG Wealth Management.  Ken expanded his horizons as Division Director IG (1990-1996) helping to develop, mentor and train others. In 1997 he left his role as a Division Manager to focus on clients in his practice as new technology and programs allowed for greater financial planning for individuals.  The Private wealth management division of the company was created many years later and Kens practice was selected to be one of the original members of this dynamic group. Nolin and Associates continues today to be apart of the IG Private wealth management division at IG. Ken has completed the Canadian Securities Course, received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) professional designations. Invested in the human side of wealth management, Ken puts people and service first, demonstrated through his responsiveness to client needs.

As an Executive Financial Consultant, Ken provides personalized solutions that are grounded in his extensive experience, knowledge of investments, tax efficacies and estate planning. Financial planning is not just a career for him but his life’s work, and he takes pride in helping clients plan and achieve their financial goals. 

Ken values giving back to the community where he has lived all his life by supporting local organizations with his time and attention such as the Christmas Cheer Board, Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation and Centre Flavie-Laurent.  Married for 34 years with three daughters, Kens family grew to another generation in 2019 with the addition of his first grandchild. Ken loves his free time at his family cottage year-round with family and friends on the dock, fishing or snowmobiling in the winter.
